Join Six String Alliance and you're not just signing up for lessons - you're joining a community of guitarists who get it. People who understand why you've spent an hour on one bar, and who'll notice when you finally nail it.
But this isn't just about chatting guitar - it's about genuinely getting better. Real progress you can hear and feel, backed by consistent practice, useful feedback, and people who'll push you gently when you need it.
Ask questions, share your progress, celebrate the wins - a barre chord that finally rings clean counts. The goal's simple: get better, stick with it, and enjoy the process along the way.

Jamie was one of my tutors at the Academy of Contemporary Music.
Jamie's no-nonsense, concise way of explaining advanced concepts
made a lasting impression on my playing and as a teacher myself.

I’ve known Jamie for over thirty years and, apart from being a
wonderful friend he’s also a fantastic guitar teacher with a
ridiculous amount of experience & expertise!! I love his tunes too,
and his incredible production skills always make anything that he
does sound totally awesome!!!

I have known Jamie since way back in the 1980’s when he came to me
for lessons. From then until now, I have proudly watched his
progress go from being a pupil to a master. During this time we also
managed to tour together in Europe, Scandinavia and the USA! You
will definitely be in trustworthy hands learning from Jamie and I
truly wish him every success with this venture.
